The South-East England Development Agency (Seeda) has launched its Sustainable Business Awards 2003.
The awards are open to all companies based in the South-East, excluding the public and education sectors.
There are two categories - one for small and medium-sized companies, with fewer than 250 employees, and one for large companies, with more than 250 employees.
Entries will be judged on their environmental management, energy efficiency, waste minimisation, social responsibility, supply chain management, transport, innovation and economic benefits.
There are also a number of themed awards to recognise achievement in specific categories.
A site visit will be conducted for all finalists before the judging panel makes its final decision.
The closing date for entries is September 1.
