Has anyone from Brighton and Hove City Council or Sussex Police attempted to ride a bike in the cycle lane between the two piers?
Cyclists are forced off the lane because it is not obvious it is there. Tourists walk along it and children and dogs run across it.
At Hove lawns there is always the chance you might be knocked off with a football in your face.
The cycle lanes in this town are a joke, some ending at brick walls and some which last for two meters.
If the council insists on fining cyclists, I hope the money is spent on safer strategies for all involved.
