Volunteers are needed to help a scheme support families with young children.
Home-Start Worthing and Adur helps families with at least one child under the age of five.
Volunteers visit families in their own homes for two to three hours per week, offering practical help and friendship.
All volunteers attend a preparation course and are supported regularly by an organiser.
The next course is being held at 41 Thorn Road, Worthing, on September 25 from 10am to 2.30pm.
