We have heard the astronomers and other "experts" tell us about the nearness of planet Mars to Earth but not one of them has told us the easy way to identify the planet from all the other stars in the southeastern night sky.
Planets do not twinkle like all the stars in the heavens which are easily identified.
It rises low down in the South-East and rises upwards through the night.
