I was surprised to read the letter from Mrs Brown (August 25) attacking Councillor Brian Oxley over Aldrington Halt and suggesting that he is exported to New York or back to his homeland of Derby.
Coun Oxley is a conscientious, hardworking councillor and I am continually hearing people sing his praises.
When he first stood for election to Hove Council he said that if he was elected he would move into the ward.
He was as good as his word and is well known and respected in the area.
Problems have been encountered at Aldrington Halt for many years but Coun Oxley has worked hard to combat these.
