Southwick joint-manager Mick Fogden is looking to pull off a giant killing act against his former club Burgess Hill in the preliminary round clash at Old Barn Way.

Fogden was a coach at the Hillians for three years before leaving at the beginning of last season.

He is relishing the prospect of putting one over on his old mates but admits the odds are stacked against him.

He said: "I enjoyed my time at the club and I know most of the people there.

"I don't think that will be an advantage for us because they are a great club and a really good outfit, so we have our work cut out. But that's not to say we can't cause an upset."

Fogden is hoping for a bumper gate and is looking forward to hearing the Hillians fans in fine voice again.

He said: "The Burgess Hill supporters are worth a goal to their team."

Tony Holden is missing with a knee injury and joint player-manager Mark Burt is recovering from a hernia operation earlier this month.
