Your article about police halting the sale of BB guns at the bank holiday market at Brighton racecourse (The Argus, August 27) wrongly referred to them as "weapons". They are toys.
The police would no doubt prefer that a number of items were not sold but while the sale of such amusements is legal, to have the police conspire to prevent their sale is highly alarming.
