The winners of the Worthing Horticultural Society's third annual show have been announced.
The event took place at the Methodist Church Hall, The Steyne, Worthing, last Monday.
The show, which opened at noon and continued until 4pm, featured all the usual classes, including flowers, fruit, vegetables, cacti, wine, cookery, children's classes and floral display lessons.
It coincided with the finish of the bank holiday float procession.
Spokesman Paul Brownlee said: "This was the first time our autumn show has been held at this venue and the hall looked very colourful, with almost 250 entries, which were to the usual high standard.
"As usual for this time of year the two main flowers exhibited were chrysanthemums and dahlias, although there was still considerable interest in the other classes."

Godson and Mallard Cup (best entry, chrysanthemums) Bruce Button, NCS Silver Medal (best vase, chrysanthemums) Bruce Button, NCS Bronze Medal (best bloom) Bruce Button.
Speight Cup (most points, classes one to seven chrysanthemums) - Bruce Button, Society's Cup (best exhibit, dahlia classes eight to 21) Fred White, DS Silver Medal (best exhibit dahlia in show) Fred White, NDS Bronze Medal (best vase of dahlia except silver medal) Fred White.
GB Bennett Cup (most points in dahlia classes) Christine Fry, Walter Leonard Cup (winner of mixed flowers 22 to 24) Linda Charman, RNRS Bronze Medal (best rose exhibit) Fred White.
Henry Burnes Cup (best pelargonium or geranium) Maureen Jackson, Steradent Award (best pot plant classes 29 to 34) Arthur Burt.
