How on earth did such a totally inappropriate concept as the Gehry blocks in Hove ever get this far?

I think the design is very interesting. Gehry is one of the great architects of the day but what is being proposed is totally wrong for the location.

Why is the council unable to simply lay down some basic ground rules for this site regarding height and utility and then get on with what the vast majority of us want in Hove - a thoroughly modern community/sports centre which fits in with the environment?

Ladies and gentlemen, you are nothing short of incompetent.

The people of Hove are becoming tired of you.
