The Sussex Symphony Orchestra opens its new season with the BBC Young Musician of the Year, cellist Guy Johnston.
He will perform one of the most moving cello concertos ever written, Elgar's E-minor work, which was written while the composer was living near Billingshurst.
Also on the programme is Berlioz' Overture Roman Carnival and Rachmaninov's Symphony No 2, evocative of the Russian countryside which inspired this composer, who was named an Enemy of the People under Stalin.
The concert begins at 7.30pm and tickets are £12 (concessions £10).
They are available on the door or the Dome box office.
