In response to your article concerning Paul and Heather McCartney donating clothes to Carla Lane's shop (The Argus, August 29), how very generous!
With all the money they have and will continue to add to, I think they might at least have tried to help with Carla's recent problem: Trying to find people to pledge a regular amount.
With all the interest they must earn from their millions, could they not donate a little of that regularly? I believe Linda McCartney would have done a lot more than donate old clothes.
No animal is ever turned away, no matter how sick or old. From a baby bird to a horse, they are given the best help and attention they could wish for.
I sincerely hope Carla will get the support she needs very soon.
