The Findon Sheep Fair is taking place on Saturday, despite strict regulations imposed after the foot-and-mouth outbreak.
The fair used to involve a huge auction of sheep and a host of other attractions, including Robert Harris's traditional fair ground, craft and produce stalls, pony rides, Punch and Judy, morris dancers and a dog show.
The foot-and-mouth outbreak meant last year's sheep auction had to be called off and restrictions on moving animals mean there will be just a few sheep at this year's event.
However, many old favourites are still being run.
The event, at Nepcote Green, Findon, is organised by volunteers from Findon village and aided by Findon Parish Council. The events include:
Friday. 6.30pm: Robert Harris's Traditional Fairground; 7.30pm: Barn dance with music by Foreman Five and a hog roast.
Saturday. 10.30am: Fairground and craft and produce stalls; 12.15pm, 2.30pm and 3.45pm: Punch and Judy; 11.30am and 1.45pm: Morris dancers; 10.45am and 1pm: Celebration Samba; 1pm: Dog show, awards for pedigree and non-pedigree dogs, junior handling and obedience; 3pm: Demonstration by Findon Downs Dog Training Club; 7.30pm: All-ages dance with music by Fred and the Ferrets and hog roast.
Sunday. 3pm: Songs of praise, Salvation Army Band in conjunction with St John the Baptist Church, Findon.
A licensed bar and refreshments will be available.
Tickets for Friday and Saturday events are available from the butcher's shop and newsagents in Findon, adults £4, children 13 and under £1.50.
