Westfield produced an astonishing 18-0 win over Pease Pottage in County League division two.
The struggling Crawley-based side had lost manager Dudley Christensen during the week and they finished the game with nine men after one was sent off and another walked off.
Goals came from Duncan Jones (four), Dominic Clarke (four), Lawrence Brand (four), Alan Johnson (three), Justin Jirbandey (two) and Russell Keen.
Westfield manager Steve Johnson said: "They only turned up at ten to three and the kit turned up at 3pm. They had the bare 11 and most of them were kids. It is nice to score a few goals but not like that."
Selsey gained their first win of the season as they triumphed 2-1 at Southwick thanks to goals from skipper Alun Morey and Paul Lee. Mark Allwright hit the Wickers' reply.
Selsey assistant-boss Rob Semark said: "It was no more than we deserved. We have been threatening that for a while."
Tommy Pattenden scored the only goal, tapping home a Ryan McBride cross, as Whitehawk won 1-0 at Pagham.
Dean Venton made his return for Hawks after rejoining from Burgess Hill and 16-year-old Owen Botting was outstanding on his debut at left wingback.
Yemi Odubade scored his tenth goal of the campaign as Eastbourne Town beat Redhill 1-0. Odubade, who had started as a substitute due to a groin injury, struck an 88th-minute winner and then saw a stoppage time penalty saved.
Defensive lapses by both sides accounted for all the goals as Sidley and Horsham YMCA fought out a 2-2 draw at Gullivers. Dave Carey made the most of two opportunities supplied him by the YM defence to put the hosts ahead twice but they were pegged back on each occasion by Andy Price and Tim Brown respectively.
Sidley joint-boss Andy Laskey said: "It was a fair result."
Hassocks boss Dave John felt his side should have been up against ten men at East Grinstead after his striker Pat Harding was pulled down when through on goal but he had to settle for a 1-1 draw as the hosts remained at full strength. James Laing netted for Robins while Kris Trevor replied for Grinstead with just two minutes remaining. John said: "It was a total robbery."
East Preston produced a performance to please boss Vic Short as they grabbed a point at St Leonards after the hosts took the lead when Dave Flemming scored at the far post. Andy Willems levelled and EP had a number of chances cleared off the line in the 1-1 draw.
Chichester came from a goal down to beat Hailsham Town 3-1. Second half substitute Roger Moore netted twice from setpieces after Russell Hardwell had scored on the hour from 18 yards. Smith hit a consolation for Hailsham.
Second division Oakwood beat Rye and Iden United 1-0 in the Sussex RUR Cup. Gerald Manville converted a Carl Dunk cross on 72 minutes to secure the win.
Club chairman Roger Brace took control of Shoreham's John O'Hara Cup second round tie at Mile Oak and came away with a 1-0 win. The deadlock was broken on 22 minutes by striker Darren Annis who played a one-two with Robbie Craven before heading in at the near post for the only goal of the game.
A late strike from 16-year-old Joe Leggett gave Sidlesham a 2-1 win against visiting Lancing. Scott Tipper opened the scoring for the home side before an own goal from Tom Chapman brought Lancing level. With only two minutes to go substitute Leggett struck from 20 yards.
