A police crackdown on alcohol-fuelled crime in Mid Sussex has resulted in 24 arrests.
More than 1,100 hours of high-visibility patrols were carried out across the district as part of the week-long Operation Resolve 3.
In Crawley, police noted a drop in violent crime following efforts to control antisocial behaviour in the town centre.
In Horsham, where youth workers joined forces with police during the early part of the evening, police also saw lower levels of violent crime.
Chief Inspector Samantha Coates said: "We are encouraged by the low level of violent crime reported during the week."
