On the Palace Pier (I refuse to call it Brighton Pier) the cheapest single ride is now £1 and the most expensive is £2.50.
With only 18 rides plus only five attractions costing a massive total of £33, it is more expensive than the Magic Kingdom in Florida or Paris which has a huge 44 rides plus hundreds more attractions and only costs £32.50 (or even less for a child).
So Disney is cheaper than the Palace Pier.
For what it costs a family to come to Brighton for a week, they could go to Florida for the same.
I know because I did it in June, with cheap flights and accommodation costing only £30 a night for a family of four in a Holiday Inn or similar, with three swimming pools, kids eating for free and restaurant prices enormously lower than here.
How about giving our visitors some value for money?
