Brighton and Hove Albion's goalkeeping situation has been further complicated by an injury to Ross Flitney.
The Seagulls are waiting for the results of a scan on a swollen knee suffered by the teenager.
It means veteran goalkeeping coach John Keeley could be on the bench again for Saturday's home game against Sheffield Wednesday.
As we revealed yesterday, Albion are recalling Michel Kuipers from his loan spell at Hull because first choice Ben Roberts has a back problem.
Flitney, 19, made his debut on loan from Fulham in place of Roberts in Tuesday's 1-0 home win against Chesterfield.
Now he could be sidelined as well for the Wednesday match, leaving 42-year-old Keeley to cover for Kuipers.
Flitney, signed when Kuipers went to Hull, is uncertain about his Albion future.
"My loan runs out a week on Friday, but I haven't had any discussions with the gaffer yet," he said. "Maybe I will stay or maybe it will be time to go back to Fulham."
Kuipers makes his first appearance since January against Wednesday, the first of four games in 11 days for Steve Coppell's side.
Coppell said: "This is the start of a really congested period of matches. It will be a real test of the squad and whether they are fit enough to live up to the demands being asked of them."
