Ross Flitney has expressed uncertainty over his future at Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Argus revealed yesterday that the Seagulls are recalling Michel Kuipers from his loan spell at Hull because of a back injury to keeper Ben Roberts.
Flitney, who was signed on loan from Fulham when Kuipers left for Hull, made his debut in Tuesday's 1-0 home win against Chesterfield.
The 19-year-old said: "I don't know how serious Ben's injury is. My loan runs out a week on Friday, but I haven't had any discussions with the gaffer yet.
"Maybe I will stay or maybe it will be time to go back to Fulham."
Kuipers will make his first Albion appearance since January in Saturday's home game against Sheffield Wednesday, the first of four in 11 days.
Boss Steve Coppell said: "We have got a huge game on Saturday, then we go on our travels next week.
"This is the start of a really congested period of matches. It will be a real test of the squad and whether they are fit enough to live up to the demands being asked of them."
Youngster Adam Hinshelwood is poised for an extended run at rightback, with Paul Watson ordered to rest his feet problems until at least the end of the month.
Coppell was impressed with Chris McPhee's contribution as a substitute for Darius Henderson in the closing stages against Chesterfield.
