Bognor were forced to hang on as they made it six out of six at home with a narrow win over Ford United.
The Rocks were 2-0 up at the break but Ford made a spirited fightback in the second half.
Manager Jack Pearce said: "It's pleasing that we have now won six on the trot at home but we should have killed off the opposition."
A 14th-minute break involving Michael Birmingham and Daniel Beck was finished by Jamie Howell for the opener and Beck increased Bognor's lead in the 32nd minute when he fired home from Guy Rutherford's ball.
Glenn Poole pulled a goal back for the visitors in the 57th minute with a curling free-kick.
Beck made it 3-1 when he raced on to a David Piper ball and chipped the advancing keeper in the 73rd minute but Ford pulled back another goal deep in injury time when Ben Lewis headed home.
