I read with amazement the article regarding people complaining about the car parking charges at the new Tesco in Church Road, Hove.
Well, wake up and smell the coffee, dudes. Space for parking is limited and for Tesco customers only. I see no problem in that.
If your stay exceeds 90 minutes a fine of £25 can be applied - fine by me.
People were moaning they do not have time to visit other shops in the area.
But the car park is there for shoppers like me who want to park, shop in Tesco and leave well within 90 minutes.
This ensures my space is not taken up by a freeloaders who want free parking so they can nip off for a drink and a chat.
If you want to swan around other shops, find somewhere else to park and, while you are at it, take time to think of someone else for a change.
In fact, try parking at one of an "angry" reader's stores, Vokins in Sackville Road, and see how he likes people using his business as a free long stay car park.
