Soccer smoothie Des Lynam brought his famous charm to a sports day in Littlehampton.
The Arun District Council chairman's charity fun day, at Arun Leisure Centre, featured teams from the Littlehampton Swimming and Sports Centre and the Arun Leisure Centre.
They battled against each other yesterday in swimming relays, a fitness challenge, badminton, squash, junior judo, short mat bowls, stoolball and a tug of war.
TV pundit Des gave Littlehampton sports centre captain Tina Cooper a trophy after her team won the most points from all the contests.
The annual event helps to raise funds for the chairman's charity, which this year is St John Ambulance Sussex.
Council chairman Councillor Dr James Walsh is County Commander for St John Ambulance Sussex.
