Lewes maintained their lead at the top of division one south after victory at home to Corinthian Casuals.
The Rooks had a flurry of chances before Luke Fontana poked home his eighth goal of the season on 14 minutes after strike partner Marc Whiteman had headed back across goal.
Whiteman made it 2-0 just before half time after a mesmerising run and cross by Peter Adeniyi.
It was the former Manchester United striker's seventh goal of the campaign.
However, the visitors never gave up and John Eldridge reduced the deficit with ten minutes left.
Lewes substitute Ahmet Suleymanoglu immediately restored the two-goal cushion but a wonder goal from 35 yards by Casuals substitute Jamie Byatt left the Rooks hanging on for their seventh consecutive league success.
