Police are appealing for help after a West Sussex church hall was broken into.
The offender smashed a window to gain entry to the hall in Warnham, near Horsham, in the early hours of September 2 and stole a payphone from a wall.
Officers want to trace a man seen in the area prior to the break-in. He was in his late 40s or early 50s, about 5ft 7ins and of scruffy appearance.
He had brown greying curly collar-length hair, was unshaven and spoke with a country accent.
Anyone with information should ring Horsham police on 0845 6070999.
