I loved the audacity of the president of the National Association of Estate Agents (The Argus, September 22) when he suggested a scheme to allow young people to get on the property ladder by having their parents as guarantors.
Many young people today have record debt through studying and already have to tap their parents for food and books without Mr Williams proposing to make them even more dependent on them.
