I am one of many cyclists who enjoys the views of the Brighton and Hove seafront.
There is nothing I like better on a summer's day than to cycle along the seafront to the marina and back.
But what I don't like is the pedestrians who walk in the cycle lanes when there is plenty of room on the pavement.
I get so frustrated when they can clearly see me coming towards them and then expect me to swerve around them.
I often think the cycle lanes were a waste of time, money and effort.
What if the council was to bring in an on-the-spot fine for pedestrians using cycle lanes?
Maybe then people would think twice about walking in the cycle lanes, just like cyclists think twice about cycling on the promenade.
