A West Sussex woman was seriously injured when her bike was in collision with a van.
The 36-year-old from Stedham, north of Midhurst, was taken to St Richard's Hospital, Chichester, after the accident, which happened at 7.30pm yesterday.
She was travelling along the westbound carriageway of the A272 at Stedham when she was in collision with a Renault van.
The cyclist, who has not yet been named, was later transferred to Southampton General hospital.
The van driver, a 58-year-old man from Petersfield, was unhurt.
