It would be hard not to be uplifted by these Irish lads' sun-drenched tunes.
Influenced by the Beach Boys with a touch of Neil Young, their sweet melodies ooze that soaring feelgood sensation which gets you humming and dancing around the room.
Strange then, that, despite their hip attire and presence, the competent delivery of familiar songs and recent chart success, that they seemed to inspire apathetic disinterest in the sold-out crowd rather than a thrilled excitement.
There were a few energetic boppers at the front but, on the whole, the audience all seemed a little bored.
I left wishing I had just listened to the album at home.
