The stress of moving house inspired a woman to create a computer scheme which won her a £100 prize.

University of Brighton student Stacey Ormond designed a system, which would enable a house move to be co-ordinated online through a single source.

Her project won the university's inaugural e-commerce prize sponsored by Rustington-based eBuilders, which runs home improvement web sites.

Stacey, from Angmering, said: "I saw the frustrations, delays and misunderstandings my parents had to contend with through dealing with so many different organisations.

"I thought there must be an easier way. I'm delighted my project has been recognised and rewarded."

Aafke Krol, web site content manager at eBuilders, presented her with a cheque at a ceremony at the Sallis Benney Theatre in Brighton.
