Glamour model Jordan has been ordered to remove her glowing globes from her Sussex garden.

Planning inspectors said the orbs fixed to gateposts outside her home were an eyesore.

They ruled the 25-year-old, real name Katie Price, must take down the posts and 6ft fence around her home in Poynings, near Henfield.

She put up the wooden fence and gate to provide extra security following a raid on her London property.

However, she has been ordered to demolish it all after failing to secure planning permission before they were built.

Mid Sussex District Council officers were alerted after Poynings Parish Council complained the fence was spoiling the neighbourhood.

Jordan was unsuccessful in an attempt to get planning permission retrospectively.

Councillor David Shevels, vice chairman of the council's south area planning committee, was not surprised people were not happy with the additions to their area.

He said: "She had built these huge gateposts with glowing globes on top. It stuck out like a sore thumb."

The model was unavailable for comment last night but said in a recent magazine interview she was thinking of moving from the Poynings area because too many people were driving by her home and shouting insults.
