Crawley romped to a 64-0 win at Deal Wanderers after doing a bit of pre-match research and successfully combating their hosts' main strength in the pack.
Alan Maybank ran in from 20 metres following a delightfully timed off-load from outside centre Richard Billings to set things moving.
Andy Evans, Andy Miller and Ed Dowling added to the tally, all converted by Evans, for a 28-0 half-time lead.
The second half also started with Billings setting up Maybank to touch down.
Billings added two of his own, Gorm Young crossed and lock Tony Parsons enjoyed his double strike. Evans took his tally of conversions to seven.
Heathfield overcame spirited Seaford 30-15 in a game which also counted for Sussex One points.
Matt Skinner, Richard Cooley and Simon Wilson scored tries with further points coming from the boot of Will Drinkwater.
It was a somewhat disjointed performance from Heathfield, who were without a number of players unavailable due to the early morning kick-off ahead of the England game.

Hastings will be expecting a much tougher test when they travel to Pulborough's sloping pitch in the league on Saturday.

Horsham were 51-5 winners at Rye in the Greene King IPA Sussex Intermediate Shield but coach Andy Smith insists they can play better. There was a touch of the Will Greenwoods about Horsham's first try as Guy Hannell charged down a kick and Kelly Russell ran the ball home.
Andy Stone (2), Dan Lethbridge (2), Russell again, Adam Harman, Dio Antilles and Rob Wright completed the tally of tries.
