A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Some Mothers Do Have 'Em fan who flooded police airwaves with catchphrases such as "Ooh Betty".
Frank Spencer impersonator Nathan Stack, 21, was due to be sentenced at Worthing Magistrates Court after being found guilty in August of theft and interfering with wireless telegraphy.
The charity worker said he found the police radio at a petrol station and began broadcasting impersonations of his favourite TV character.
Stack, of York Gardens, Littlehampton, was eventually stopped by traffic police and said, in the style of Michael Crawford's character: "Can I help you officers?"
Magistrates issued the warrant after he failed to show up at court yesterday.
