It is the stuff of footballers' dreams. Worthing players are being fined by the club for NOT drinking.
Not that heavy boozing is being encouraged. It is more a case of fines chief Darren Freeman and his committee helping to promote team camaraderie.
Players must pay £3 if they do not visit the club bar for at least one drink after games and training sessions.
Manager Alan Pook said: "It's good for team spirit and the money goes towards our end-of-season tour."
Freeman himself has already been nabbed for late arrival at a game and model pro Paul Rogers was the victim of a practical joke when his mobile started ringing during Pook's team talk.
Pook has serious matters to address as Rebels go to Staines in division one south following a shock 4-2 midweek defeat at Bracknell.
James Virgo, signed recently from Burgess Hill, will be in the squad with competition for places heating up, notably in attack.
Boss John Maggs admits his Horsham side must beat Corinthian Casuals if they are to build on their fine win at Whyteleafe.
Stuart Hardy and Rhod Davies, whose introduction on either flank sparked the comeback in midweek, keep their places wide in midfield.
Maggs is keen to sign Croydon skipper Michael Eubanks, who can play anywhere down the left.
Matt Allen has played his last game for Lewes.
The Rooks' record signing decided to stop playing in the summer due to work commitments but made a comeback for Steven King's injury-hit squad against Marlow last Saturday. Allen remains on contract.
However, he failed to turn up for Wednesday's trip to Molesey and King said: "He will never be back again as long as I am in charge here."
Germain Amanuel has played in the last two matches to help King out but he has now left.
Luke Fontana will not play again until after Christmas after breaking a leg while fellow striker Marc Whiteman is at least two weeks away from fitness.
