Crawley Town are still waiting to hear whether Carl Wilson-Denis will be able to feature in their starting line up in the FA Cup.

The striker looks set to make his first appearance for the Reds in the competition after his release by Albion.

Wilson-Denis has been unable to play for the Reds in the Cup because Albion did not want him cup-tied but now manager Francis Vines hopes he will lead the attack at Cirencester in the fourth qualifying round tomorrow.

Vines said on Friday: "I won't know if Carl will be travelling with us until later today because he has asked a pro club for a trial and is waiting to hear whether they will take him. If they don't want him then I'm hoping he will play for us."

Wilson-Denis has scored seven times for Crawley this season, including two in Tuesday night's 5-2 victory over Cambridge which put them top of the Dr Martens League premier division.

If he is not available for the trip to western division side Cirencester at least Vines can call on the fit-again Joff Vansittart, Karl Ready and Warren Bagnall, who has not played all season.

Vines said: "It is a big boost to have those three back and especially Warren because we have missed his presence up front this season.

"If we perform to even 85 per cent of our ability then we shouldn't have a problem as long as we put the effort in. We cannot afford to be complacent though as there is a lot at stake."

Eastbourne Borough will meet some familiar faces against Stevenage in their fourth qualifying round showdown at Priory Lane.

Six players at the Conference club played in the Farnborough team who beat Borough 1-0 in the FA Trophy last January.

Stevenage manager Graham Westley took half the team with him when he left Farnborough towards the end of last season.

The goalscorer in that game, Nathan Bunce, is expected to play alongside former Crawley striker Danny Carroll.

However, Borough manager Garry Wilson does not believe it will give his side an advantage. He said: "We have played against the manager and most of the players before, but I don't think that will have a bearing on the game."

"They are a full-time club and have also got three or four players who play for the England semi-professional team so it is going to be very tough.

Ben Austin (back) is Borough's only doubt.
