I was incensed to read about Jim Davidson's nasty tirade involving pensioners and the handicapped (The Argus, October 22).
These people pay his wages and keep theatres going. My wife worked at the Theatre Royal for 26 years, cleaning stars' dressing rooms - including Mr Davidson's).
She is disabled and a pensioner, as I am, but we never had complaints from any of the stars who wrote many letters and cards of thanks to us for my wife's dedication to have everything perfect.
