The Voice of The Argus (October 20) shows little tolerance towards mainstream Anglicans who are trying to hold on to Christian teaching as it has been understood since the time of Christ.
We serve an awesome and holy God who has given his church the task of spreading the good news of Jesus throughout the world.
Our problem with those who want to introduce homosexuality into the Church is that they are not prepared to acknowledge this activity is either sinful or immoral, apart from being heretical.
Jesus came into this world to save sinners from the wrath to come. If we say we have no sin and the truth is not in us, how can we be saved?
Is it worth trying to hold on to a unity which is being constantly undermined from outside and within the Church and distracting it from its real work?
