Hastings United made it seven points out of nine with a comprehensive home win over Ashford Town.
This latest success continued Hastings' climb up the table after being rock bottom little more than a week ago.
Manager Steve Lovell said: "It was pleasing. I have always said it's about the shape of the team and the people understanding that.
"We've worked on it and it's paying off. The shape was brilliant, everybody was working hard and when we got the ball we played some good stuff at times."
Hastings took the game by the scruff of the neck with two goals in the opening 25 minutes.
Carl Rook maintained his goal-a-game scoring streak since moving from defence into attack on ten minutes by being in the right place to convert a volleyed cross from Stuart Myall.
Chris Honey doubled the lead when he raced clear of a dozing Ashford defence and beat the advancing keeper.
Jimmy Elford, Myall and Steve Ringwood all went close to increasing the advantage, while the best Ashford could muster was an Adrian Stone header that clipped the foot of the post.
Julian Curnow scored his first goal since moving to Burgess Hill to secure a 2-1 win at Burnham.
It was a deserved triumph for Gary Croydon's men who dominated for long spells against a side reduced to ten men in the second half when Lee Riddell was sent off.
Matt Simpson drilled Hillians in front on 24 minutes, but Burnham levelled against the run of play just before the break when the unmarked Geoff Neville volleyed home.
Curnow headed home a 56th-minute header for the clincher.
