Millions of loyal subjects know Her Majesty the Queen is deeply concerned at the EU's plans to absorb the UK into a European super-state and Mr Blair's determination not to hold a referendum on the issue.
I have argued for years that the gradual encroachment of the EU into domestic affairs would leave the Queen in an untenable position and the EU constitution is really just the finale.
Her Majesty's duty is to protect sovereignty of the British Parliament and people, which puts her in direct opposition with Mr Blair's government, which fully intends to give it away.
The Queen has the constitutional powers to prevent the Government imposing foreign law on the UK and she should use them by either withholding the royal assent or dissolving Parliament and calling a General Election.
Time is running out. If she does not act soon, she will find herself head of a state which exists only on paper.
