Your article about Johnny Vegas' Thursday show (The Argus, October 25) was inaccurate and very poor.
People were not leaving in their droves. They were only leaving because he had overrun so much (which was much appreciated by the majority of the crowd).
He received a massive round of applause at the end and the jeers and heckles you described were in good humour, not menacing.
Oh, and he always tells the audience it's a shit gig and he has no material.
I was also present at Saturday night's show, which you described as a triumphant return.
The mood in the crowd was very similar to the Thursday show and he received a similar applause at the end.
Still, the 3am girls picked up on it so there's a bonus, eh?
