The public inquiry into the Brighton, Hove and East Sussex Waste Local Plan is now over.
Over the past six months many individuals and organisations, including Friends of the Earth, have presented evidence at the inquiry, stating their objections.
Their efforts should not go unremarked as many have been calling the councils to account over their proposals, particularly in relation to the plan for an incinerator at Newhaven.
