Understrength Horsham's troubles continued as they went down to Tooting and Mitcham at Queen Street.
Tooting took the lead with two goals in the space of a minute.
Kunle Adeoye was given space to slip the ball into the far corner on the half hour, and seconds later stand-in keeper Jonathan Hardy crashed a clearance into Durrand Jemmott only to see the ball rebound into the net.
Horsham pulled one back just before half-time. Rhod Davis weaved past two defenders before laying the ball on to Ahmet Suleymanoglu on the right.
His cross was met at the far post by Stuart Hardy who guided his header past Tommy Dunn.
Suleymanoglu had a strike ruled out for offside before Tooting stretched their lead on 54 minutes.
Jemmott cut the ball back to leave Adeoye with a simple finish. Horsham replied in the 82nd minute. Lee Carney played in a low cross that Suleymanoglu back-heeled into the net.
Withdean had a fine 4-3 win away to North Greenford in the Combined Counties League.
Florian Mateos netted twice, including a penalty, to take his tally to ten for the season.
Tom Edwards and Paul Brown were the other scorers while Brown also missed a first half penalty.
