County League second division Oakwood produced a stunning result to crush first division leaders Chichester 6-1 in the Sussex Senior Cup.
Carl Dunk was involved in four of the goals and that will be something to tell his father, Oakwood boss Mark Dunk, who missed the game as he was in America.
Neil Blackwell, who stood in for Dunk senior, said: "Mark had told me the formation they played. We had a game plan and they stuck to it.
"They listened to everything we said and I could not have asked more from them. It was an unbelievable result. They have set themselves a standard now."
George Smith senior scored twice for Oakwood while further strikes came from James Grant, a Steve Leigh own goal, Carl Dunk with a penalty and George Smith junior. Roger Moore replied for Chi who had Dan Stimpson sent off on 48 minutes for a second yellow card.
Littlehampton went through 2-1 after extra time at home to Saltdean thanks to a terrific volley from Jan Miller.
Adam Burton had given Saltdean a half time lead from the penalty spot but Gary Young replied for the Marigolds, also with a penalty, to send the game into the extra period.
By that stage both teams had been reduced to ten men with Clinton More seeing red for the hosts and Liam O'Brien being sent off for the Tigers.
Pat Massaro bagged the only goal as Three Bridges went through 1-0 away to Whitehawk.
In the Sussex RUR Cup, Sidlesham scored twice in the final 15 minutes to beat ten-man Steyning Town 2-0.
The second division visitors had Steve Purser sent off after 15 minutes but held out until the final stages when goals from Jimmy Brown and Scott Tipper gave Sidlesham victory.
Assistant boss Sean Standing said: "The sending off changed the shape of the game."
Sidlesham gave a debut to 15-year-old Billy Chatfield in the closing stages but they were without top scorer Ashley Martin who has broken a leg and will be out for a year.
Caretaker boss and chairman Steve Richardson welcomed a 3-0 win for Hailsham at Worthing United courtesy of goals from Leon Legge, Nik Chamberlain and Scott French but has no intention of staying at the helm.
Richardson said: "The players want me to stay to the end of the season but I would prefer a new man in."
