The highlight of the One Live week for many, this invite-only gig was a gloriously people-bouncing, air-punching affair.
Opening with a saucy number from Holly Valance to get the lads panting, there followed a heady mix of top DJs from Tim Delux and Sancho Panza to Lottie as well as the obligatory spinning discs from the Tong himself.
But the anticipation cutting the air was for the disco-belting, euphoric Jaxx themselves who finished off the night with a 40-minute set and it's easy to see why they've built up such a reputation.
Superstar DJs Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe may stand behind the on-stage mix desk sliding and twisting their gadgets in a rather unanimated fashion but the sounds that result pound, build up to euphoric crescendos and explode 'til you feel you can't take any more.
There was welcome strutting from the guest vocalists, among whom was the dude of the moment Dizzee Rascal.
This year's Mercury Prize Winner is featured on the Jaxx's new single Lucky Star - an unlikely combo which sees Jaxx beating along in a boompty style until Dizzee manhandles it in a rougher direction with astonishing dancefloor abandon.
