Thieves escaped with £2,000 worth of sweets from a Mid Sussex supermarket.
The haul of Christmas stock was taken from the loading bay at the rear of Sainsbury's in East Grinstead.
Two men were seen leaving in a white Transit-type van, registration number BD03 OFV, driving erratically towards the town centre.
Police have just released details of the theft, which happened between 4.30pm and 5.30pm on Friday, October 31.
