Hove have opened up a one-point gap at the top of Sussex One.
They won 34-10 at Burgess Hill and now face an intriguing tussle with Heathfield next Saturday.

Crowborough came from 10-5 down at the break for a 19-10 home win over Seaford.
The visitors' try was a good one, Lee Pryer producing a magnificent solo break from halfway before selling a dummy to score under the posts.
Simon Baker converted and later kicked a penalty.
Old Brightonians rattled up a 74-7 verdict over Sussex Police in a re-arranged Sussex Two tussle.
Acting captain Matt Wilson scored three tries, as did Ben Bidwell.
Further tries came from Paul Atkins (2), Lloyd Libin, Robert Heal, Jamie Allen and Nigel Fozzella. Kit Barkon converted seven.
Damon Funnell replied for the Police with Maurice Dando adding the conversion.
