Is it just me or does anyone else feel that firework night as we used to know it now seems to encompass the entire month of November?
I wonder how much worse the abuse of fireworks must get.
I wonder how long it will be before someone in authority introduces a bill to get the wretched things banned.
Forget about the usual arguments, the amount of people who are badly injured on an annual basis. Forget about those animals who are scared out of their wits.
What amazes me is that environmentalists are not up in arms at the constant damage these mindless morons are inflicting upon our environment.
What's the point in worrying whether your fridge is ozone friendly if you then go and set off a box of explosives in your back garden?
We have yet to pay the full price for the wars of the last century in terms of environmental damage.
Yet some people seem hell bent on adding to that damage.
