A paedophile who downloaded hundreds of indecent images of children as young as five has been spared a jail term.
Magistrates sentenced Charles Casson, 28, to a 12-month community rehabilitation order.
Casson, formerly of Macclesfield, Cheshire, now lives in Edburton Avenue, Brighton.
Macclesfield magistrates heard Casson admitted 16 charges of making indecent photos of children and two charges of possessing indecent photos of children.
Casson will have to sign the sex offenders register. He was also ordered to pay £140 towards court costs.
