Eastbourne Borough manager Garry Wilson was stunned after his team's 2-1 premier division defeat by visitors Newport County.
After outplaying County in every department of the game except that of scoring goals, Borough ended pointless.
Wilson said: "I am absolutely shellshocked.
"We have been mugged. The game was so one-sided it was ridiculous.
"It's hard to take when you are on the wrong end of a game like this.
"After the amount of play we had, even a draw would have been disastrous."
Visiting keeper Duncan Roberts had an outstanding game as goals by Jeff Eckhardt on 21 minutes and a Stuart Tuck own goal on 66 put Newport ahead.
Stuart Playford had an effort deflected against the post for Borough.
Borough did pull one back in the 77th minute when Scott Ramsay volleyed home Danny Simmonds' cross.
