He may be just five years old but little Harry Woodhouse has already proved he has got an eye for a good picture.
While his friends are busy playing games, Harry is well on the way to building a reputation as a photographer.
Harry, who attends St Paul's Primary School in St Nicholas Road, Brighton, has seen his pictures placed on a web site for the whole world to admire.
The snap-happy schoolboy went walking along Brighton and Hove seafront armed with a digital camera to take the shots.
Accompanied by his mum Roberta, of Brunswick Square, Hove, and brother Charlie, one, he took 80 pictures capturing life between the two piers.
Now 12 of the photographs have been published on a digital camera internet magazine called steal-life.com The idea was suggested by Harry's dad, Mark, 39, whose company, Third Planet, helps run the site which is sponsored by camera maker Olympus.
Harry came back from the beach with pictures of everything from an inflatable hot dog to a Slush Puppy machine.
Mrs Woodhouse, 33, said: "We spent a whole afternoon walking between the piers. Harry took all the pictures himself. Whatever caught his attention, he snapped."
Despite his family ties with the web site, its editor, Carl Fitzpatrick, insisted the pictures were picked for artistic merits.
He said: "We do different scenes each month and this month we are concentrating on photography and people under 18.
"We would not have put Harry's stuff on the web site if we did not think it was of a high enough standard.
"You can tell he thinks about what he's doing."
