Tom Frederick fears he may miss Bears' trip to Greece.
Frederick was ruled out of the second half against Split after feeling a tear in his foot.
He is almost certain to miss the weekend BBL Trophy trip to Plymouth though more will be known about his fitness after a check up today.
Frederick said: "I just stepped forward and heard a noise.
"It's on the bottom of my foot and it's not looking too great.
"It was tempting to go back on in the second half after getting some treatment but it wasn't going to help me in the long run."
Frederick did make a short-lived return late in the first half, scoring his only three points of the game to kick start a Bears revival from 11 points down.
Physio Amy Rennolds said: "He has obviously torn something and he was in agony.
"There was no bruising but I had a look at it and said don't risk it in the second half.
"We put taping on it to restrict movement but I wasn't happy about him even going back in the first half."
Frederick watched from the bench as his side were edged out in a game they should have won.
He said: "A lot of people told us we played well but we don't guage ourselves by that standard.
"Everybody was really fed up. We had a good opportunity to win and we made a couple of mistakes so we are nowhere near satisfied.
"We came out maybe a little bit tight because it was a huge game but when we started to relax we knew we could beat them.
"We're expecting to win a bunch of games now. We've got a pretty talented squad."
Coach Nurse serves a one-game ban at Plymouth for his recent ejection at Sheffield.
Bears head to Athens on Monday for the Ionikos game. The Greeks lost 74-72 at Cholet on opening night as all three group F games went to the final seconds.
