A dental lab is not the sort of place you would normally expect to find an art installation.
But those who pass through the twitten connecting Brighton's Ship Street and Middle Street can see just that.
Artist Emilia Telese's video installation Sleepwalking has taken over the lab at Christopher Gull's dental practice as part of the Brighton Photo Fringe Festival.
From 6pm to 8am every day until November 23, passers-by will find themselves surrounded by calming woodland noises as they watch Emilia's reconstruction of a journey to the New Forest.
The Brighton-based artist had been unable to accompany her father on what was to be one of his last days out before he died so she retraced his steps on film.
Dental technician Steven Homewood, who continues his work amidst the nightly display, has been watching the public's reaction.
He said: "The video is projected on to the wall behind me and is accompanied by a sound track of forest noises and bird song. It's very relaxing.
"I've had a lot of people outside watching the screen and then wanting to come in and ask me questions about it.
"Quite often they come bouncing down the passageway, perhaps having had a drink, and they stop and have a look. It seems to have a calming effect and they eventually drift off. It's quite amazing."
