A man was seen firing what is thought to have been a shotgun at a house in West Sussex.
No one was injured but some damage was caused to the property, near the corner of Hawthorn Road and Gravitts Lane, Bognor, The man seen with the gun was described as white, 6ft, in his 20s and wearing baggy clothing.
Detective Sergeant Jez Prior, of Bognor CID, said: "This was a deliberate act. Police would like to hear from anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously."
Details of the incident, on Tuesday at about 10.10pm, have just been released.
